Sargol saffron is the noblest variety of saffron, obtained exclusively from the red stigmas of the crocus flower (Crocus sativus). When ground, it retains its unique, intense aroma and deep, golden color, lending dishes elegance and a unique character.
Used for centuries in cuisines around the world – particularly Persian, Indian, Mediterranean, and Spanish. Ideal for rice dishes (e.g., paella, risotto), desserts, sauces, infusions, and baked goods. Just a tiny bit can transform the flavor and appearance of any dish.
