Planifolia is a valued variety also known as bourbon if it comes from Madagascar. Tahitensis comes from Indonesia or Papua New Guinea. Our vanilla has a very rich flavor and a sweet yet balsamic aroma with a subtle hint of licorice in the background, characteristic of sun-warmed vanilla pods. It is possible to order vanilla of different lengths.
