About the product:
Sun-dried tomatoes are also spices. They are processed into juices, purees, and concentrates. Rich in lycopene - an antioxidant that prevents cancer.
Lycopene is particularly absorbable by humans when combined with fat. Therefore, more of this compound will be absorbed in tomato sauce or salad with olive oil than in raw tomatoes.
Tomato fruits contain, among others: sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, manganese, iron, cobalt, copper, zinc, phosphorus, fluorine, chlorine, iodine, carotene, vitamins: K, B1, B2, B6, C, PP; acids: pantothenic, folic, oxalic; biotin. Sun-dried tomatoes have a special aroma and an amplified amount of minerals and vitamins.
