Clitoria Ternatea Butterfly Pea Tea – brewing method

To highlight the visual qualities of the tea, it is best brewed in a transparent teapot or glass mug.

• For a 250 ml cup of infusion, just 1 teaspoon of powder is enough
• Pour water at about 90 °C over it.
• Wait 10-15 minutes until the drink acquires color and aroma.

Recipe for Blue Matcha Latte Royal Brand

Ingredients:

• 1 teaspoon organic ground blue clitoria
• 1 teaspoon organic matcha powder Royal Brand
• 1 tablespoon Royal Brand vanilla extract
• 200 ml milk (can be plant-based)
• 1–2 teaspoons honey (optional)
• 100 ml hot water

Preparation method:

1. Matcha

Pour matcha powder into a bowl.

Add 50 ml of hot (but not boiling) water and whisk vigorously until the infusion froths and becomes smooth.

2. Blue Clitoria

Pour ground clitoria into a second bowl.

Pour 50 ml of hot water over it and stir thoroughly until the powder dissolves.

3. Heating the milk

Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat — do not bring to a boil.

4. Combining ingredients

Pour the clitoria infusion into a tall glass or your favorite mug.

Then add the frothed matcha.

Slowly pour in the warm milk, stirring gently.

Finally, if desired, add honey and vanilla extract.

Serving:

Serve immediately. For effect, you can decorate with milk foam and a sprinkle of matcha powder on top.
